Join Us For Christmas Eve Dinner at Pirwa Colonial Hostel in Cusco
There’s less than half a week left until Christmas! At Pirwa Colonial Hostel in Cusco, we’re happily preparing for our traditional Christmas Eve dinner. The halls have been decked, and the menu has been set in partnership with a local restaurant. The good news is that no matter where you’re staying during your visit to the Imperial City of the Incas, you’re invited! Just stop by reception at any of our Pirwa hostels to sign up so that we’ll know to expect you.
This year, our Christmas Eve dinner will take place at 9pm on December 24th, and will cost 35 Peruvian soles (just a fraction of what the same dinner would cost at a restaurant.
The appetizer will be a pasta salad with pasta, red pepper, bacon, cherry tomatoes, and mayonnaise. This will be followed by a main dish of pork in pineapple sauce, served with tropical rice and grapes marinated in rosé. Of course, there will be champagne for toasting, and we’ll finish the meal off with a piece of Christmas trunk cake.
Christmas Eve in Cusco is festive and fun- take full advantage by stopping by the Santurantikuy Fair in the main square during the day, enjoying a holiday meal with us in the evening, and then watching the fireworks around midnight. It’s a memorable way to celebrate while on the road.
The photos you see here are from past years’ celebrations- we’re exited to see how things go this year!
